Orbit — Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Orbit, operated by David Enachescu-Goldenberg, operating as Orbit ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Orbit. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Acceptable use

Orbit is a tool for coordinating real-world plans with your groups. You agree not to:

  • harass, threaten, abuse, or impersonate others;
  • share unlawful, harmful, or infringing content;
  • attempt to identify, track, or contact someone who has blocked you;
  • abuse location sharing, spam pings, or circumvent rate limits;
  • interfere with, probe, or attempt to break the security of the service.

We provide in-app blocking and reporting tools. We may review reported content and take action, including removing content or suspending accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create. You grant us the limited licence needed to store, display, and transmit that content so the service can function (for example, delivering your messages to the other members of a burner chat).

Burner chats are ephemeral. Messages are designed to expire and we do not guarantee their retention or recovery. Do not rely on Orbit as a system of record.

5. Service availability

We aim to keep Orbit available and reliable, but we provide the service "as is" and do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

6. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Privacy & data). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If changes are material we will update the version date above and, where required, ask you to re-accept before continuing to use Orbit.
